Jagdish Temple

The grand 17th-century Vishnu temple in the heart of the old city

Built in 1651 by Maharana Jagat Singh, Jagdish Temple is the largest temple in Udaipur — a stunning example of Indo-Aryan architecture with three storeys, intricately carved pillars, painted walls and a soaring 79 ft shikhara. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu as Jagannath.
